I challenged myself to get out and explore Atlanta during May. I mean if I call myself THE Atlanta Blogger as stated in my IG, it is a MUST that I also cover what is going on in and around the city. I love rooftops and I figured that I could go out and show y’all what’s open.
We are still in the middle of a pandemic and so many restaurants and hotels are taking measures to remain safe or provide limited proximity within other guests. These restaurants were all delicious and provided an open air atmosphere that had Atlanta VIEWS. Thank you to all of the agencies and managers who help host me so that I could bring this experience to you. Now for the food.
New Realm,
550 Somerset Terrace NE, Unit 101
Atlanta, GA 30306
New Realm is located at situated on the belt line in Atlanta and boast views of downtown in the in the distance. Besides that you can expect ahh-mazing margaritas, entrees, and appetizers. The manager, Jeff told me that this place could populate as many as 400-600 people on a busy night. However, don’t think about being shoulder to shoulder- especially on a weekday. The space is massive and can comfortably hold that amount. They have a scenic indoor and outdoor area as well as a roof. To be honest, if I am hosting a birthday party this would be a great choice because of the open airy space. Another plus is that they hold trivia Monday- Thursday at 7pm. Major events include St. Patrick’s Day Atlanta and Octoberfest. The manager below, Jeff, is pretty awesome.
Dos Bocas,
275 Baker Street Atlanta, GA
Happen to be downtown Atlanta with a craving for Mexican food? Dos Bocas is the place to visit. The bartender, Jeff will make amazing recommendations and knows his drinks. Double guac for me, please.

Der Biergarten
Different. This is where you want to go when you want something different. I had a sausage plate and a great cocktail with a very chill and relaxing view. If you want to grab authentic German cuisine and enjoy a the company of friends in a low key spot—this is where you meet up.

Sky Lounge,
110 Marietta St NW Atlanta,Ga
You will see this shirt 50-11 times, FYI. I love it that much and wore it for a shoot earlier in the day.
Nothing beats looking at all of downtown from Sky Lounge. The landmark ferris wheel, the Mercedes Benz Stadium and the entire Atlanta from the Sky Lounge. Honestly, it was breath-taking…like wow. I’m here. THIS is Atlanta. The drinks were very tasty and you have to try the jalapeño dip (ask for toast instead of chips-delish).
The view was great, and this camera captured a wedding that was happening on the roof about a quarter a mile away.
